• Local Storage: All user preferences, code snippets, and license states are stored locally on your device using Chrome's extension storage API.
• Clipboard Access: Clipboard permissions are used strictly to read user-pasted code snippets and to write generated Webflow embeds to your system clipboard upon your action.

3. Permissions Justification

• sidePanel: Renders the extension interface inside Chrome's side panel alongside Webflow Designer.
• storage: Saves user options, local code drafts, and license activation state locally on your device.
• clipboardWrite & clipboardRead: Allows copying and pasting code embeds to/from your system clipboard.
• tabs, activeTab & scripting: Enables interactions with active Webflow Designer tabs to insert code elements.
• Host Permissions (webflow.com): Restricts extension logic exclusively to Webflow Designer domains.

4. Remote Code & Third-Party Services

WCPE does not load or execute remote Javascript or Wasm code. All extension scripts are statically bundled. Optional online license verification communicates solely with our secure API endpoint to validate subscription keys.
